Medication Therapy Management Services

Ms. Harrelson has provided senior pharmacy services since her graduation form the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy.  Her highly specialized consulting services have been provided to patients in all levels of nursing and assisted living facilities, retirement centers, as well as to those seniors who reside independently in their home.

Ms. Harrelson is active both within her profession and in the greater Louisville Senior Care Community.  In addition to a variety of offices, she has served as president of local and state pharmacy associations.  She serves on the boards of Louisville's All Care Community Center and the Kentucky Renaissance Pharmacy Museum. Her community service efforts have been recognized both nationally and internationally.   She is a member of the Metro Louisville Aging in Place Council (www.MLAIPC.org), Louisville Healthcare Professionals Association, TRIAD and Kentucky Safe Aging Coalition.  She collaborates with many other providers and organizations providing care innovative to seniors. She is active in the greater Louisville area in her co-sponsorship of the biannual Expired Drug Toss. 

As a Senior Care Pharmacist, Ms. Harrelson pens articles for the Senior Care Experts (www.srcareexperts.org) quarterly newspaper, Aging Well . in addition to periodic articles in various newsletters throughout the metro area.  She serves as expert on The Community for Caregivers national website (www.agingcare.com) where she addresses questions and concerns regarding medication use and other pharmacy questions from site visitors.  You may also visit with her at various health, wellness, and senior fairs throughout the area.  She also meets with senior and caregiver groups to share information regarding safe medication use and fall prevention.  She can be contacted at the address below for speaker services.
